Default springs/retainers for tr224

What would be the right springs and retainers for a tr224? would Patriot Gold "extreme" spring kit do? Ive got a basically stock SS right now. Planning to do shorties (Cali Smog) and Y w/ high flow cats. What else do i need for a tr224 swap? Also should i do the headers/y pipe first or cam first?

Get your exhaust work done first.

In the mean time, run a search on the tr224 and you'll get all the info you need. Or just call Thunder Racing.

Comp 918s are usually fine for a 224 cam. But, if you want the added safety of a double spring, the Patriot Golds (.650 lift) would work as well.

The cars all ripped down for the cam. There's really no charge to install the chain and only a few bucks to do the pump. Cheap insurance if you ask me.
