Default I need your input.

I am pretty new to ls1's and I just picked up a pretty sweet little ride. I traded my turbo Mustang (fox body coupe) for a 1999 Z28. I have been searching the site and I have found a lot of helpful information! I have a few of my own questions that I would like to hear your opinions on.

I have a stock short block with the T-rex v1 cam. Texas speed 5.3 litter stage 3 heads. Texas speed does not have the stage 3 heads listed. I was told the difference from 2.5 to stage 3 is the design of the cnc porting job.

I have a set of comp R lifters. Are they worth using or what would you recommend?

I plan on using Arp head bolts. What head gaskets do you recomend?

What injectors would work best with E85?

Will I run into any problems with stock rockers?

I have a built 4l60e with TCI 4400 stall. Will the rearend last very long at all If I have a good hooking car?

Thats all I can think of for now. Sorry for asking newbie questions!! All your advise will be appreciated!

Comp R lifters are good. Go ahead and use them.

Head gaskets.. well, you may as well go .040 cometic, you're going to have to flycut anyways, might as well cut a little deeper and bring compression up.

The rear could last a bit with stock gearing, but it could go at anytime with drag radials or slicks. If you go up to a 4:10 or so.. which would be wise with the big cam that likes to be spun to 7k.. it will make it a bit weaker and more liely to fail.

Also, is your 99 bottom end stock? I would change the rod bolts if it is, shifting at 7200 with the stock 99 gm rod bolts will lead to disaster eventually.. likely sooner than later.
