Default 6.0L wall thickness??

ok heres my question. ive read that .030 over is the farthest you should bore an LQ4/9. does that mean it would possibly have more problems being bored that much?

No, that is a safe over bore for that block. You can go out to 4.060", but anything over 4.040" should be sonic tested for core shift and impurities. You won't have any extra problems at 4.030" if that's what your asking.
