Default new rockers

Im thinking about getting some new rockers, either yella terra 1.7s or harland sharp 1.7s. how much of a power gain would this be, and would it need to be retuned after they are put in.

No tuning would be needed. You really don't need new rockers unless you are worried about the needle bearings spilling. You would get very little if any power gain from aftermarket rockers.

i thought if you got lighter ones there would be some power gain, but, basically it wouldnt be worth it to get then on a lighter modded car?

I think they are. You will have less guide wear and you can obtain a very narrow wipe patter with the YT's. As for final hp gain, maybe 5 hp but don't buy them for that, buy them because of the better valve train geometry that can be obtained if you set them up correctly.

The guides are the fitting in which the intake and exhaust valve slide up and down. So any side loads on the top of the valve stem will result in side load in the guide and the higher the load the faster the wear.
