Default While I'm at it?

I'm going to be tearing into my engine bay quite a bit in the next couple weeks and was wondering if it's even worth my time to bother getting rid of the emissions crap while I'm in there. I did it with my 85 camaro, but I haven't really looked at how much is involved in getting it off my '99 m6. I have HP Tuners and can delete everything in the computer just fine. Also I don't have to worry about an emissions inspection. Just wondering if it's worth my time while I'm having the heads off and doing a cam. Also, anything extra I'd need to purchase in order to do it?

I'd get rid of it. It makes for a much cleaner looking engine bay.

You would probably only have to buy EGR block off plates.
