ptv with ms3 and prc stage 2.5 5.3s
i have an ms3 and all i need to know is will this cam have valve clearance issues with the texas speed's prc stage 2.5 5.3s or will i be good to go assuming all my internals besides the cam are stock

call TSP and ask.
the question to ask is:
What are the clearances intake and exhaust on my MS3 with the 5.3L PRC's?
If they are .080 intake and .100 exhaust at least then yes it will clear. If not better flycut.
If you just ask "will it clear", they will say yes and with no further measurements you "could" have a nasty surprise.
bottom line, degree your cam and check "measure" PTV (ALWAYS)

If you have the MS3 and you tell them that those are the heads that you want. They can recess the valves into the head further than normal so that there won't be any PTV clearance problems. They say that it will have the same amount of valve drop as if you were using your stock heads.
