Could it be preload on lifters Trevor or Jason come in I called Jason yester day about the car and let him listen to it. Its kinda weird it only hits after 2000 rpm or when it cold . Jason seems to think that the larger stock head gaskets and the .020 reccesed vavles could be causing preload issues. There are 7.4 pushrods in it . When they recces the valves do the snip the end off up top since it is higer and recut a vavle lock in it?
So i need to go shorter here then right? I have a damn video i just cant get it up loaded . But when you rev it and let off it tang tang tang then it settles down and just idles like nothing is wrong? To much preload or not enough ? They are checking it today or tommorow the pushrod size, Just was curious if this could really cause such a loud noise.
