Default Finished Product?!?!?

So I just finished everything. I built a forged 347 from a block only, 1st time building an LSx.

Get it in the car and everything, and I have it running and idling, it's beautiful!

All except a HUGE oil leak on the back of the motor....I mean huge....I went through around a quart in a minute. It seems to be coming from in the bellhousing/rear cover area.....iThere's no oil galley plugs their....right? What could this be? I don't have a rear cover gasket, i used anaerobic sealer....maybe that?

Man did you check to see if your oil sending unit is properly in or not broken? There is a galley plug in the rear crank cover but if it was not in i think the oil would just drain back into the pan. It looks like a barbell. You can check if it is there by removing the copper plug right above the oil filter and flash a light in there you should see a little white plastic barbell, or it might be another color mine was white.

It's definitely the gasket maker you used in the place of the gasket. The oil pan bolts probably pulled the cover away from the block when you tightened them down. Your gonna have to put the right gasket on there.

only things I could think is the rear cover seal itself, or the freeze plug in the back of the crankshaft? I know the corvettes had those or maybe it was the ls6 motors? I didnt think the f-body's did...???

NSTY WS6 is correct. There is a plug in the back of the crank that could leak a buttload of oil if not installed properly. I would look into that also while the tranny is out. Good luck.
