Some Lq9 questions... What year makes and models were LQ9's in? How can I tell the LQ4 apart from it?
More important than that, what can the LQ9 crank handle as far as power? I want to build a super budget bottom end that can handle some abuse. Are the rods decent? I want to run heads, cam, and a 200 wet shot under a carburetor. If I can get away with ARP rod bolts on stock rods, and crank with diamond 11:1 pistons I'd be pretty happy.
Also, how much can you bore the 6.0 block? More than the .030 of the aluminum blocks?
For a top end I am looking at MS3 with cnc l92 heads with a gmpp carb intake.
