TSP MS3 or MS4. MS4 lifts higher & has higher powerband. Both need upgraded valve springs, and you might want to also consider stronger rocker arms & lifters, better oil pump & timing chain.

Both will need tuning.

I'm running a 244/248 .612"/.615" 113 lsa with a 4000 stall.

T-REX here...242/248 608/612 on a 110 LSA. Through a M6 with a 4.10 geared 12 bolt. Never been to the track...just a result of wretched excess. Loads of fun...scares anyone within 1/2 mile when fired

well imma be puttin this 408 in my truck with l92 heads l92 manifold so thats why im tryna get an idea if i should go wit a bigger cam than listed in my mods

yes your gonna wanna get a new cam. that cam is way to small for a 408. u should talk to someone and have them spec you out a cam. it all depends on what you want outta your setup. but a 224 cam is not gonna be good in a 408

I would let Patrick G spec you out one. You have to take into consideration the weight of the vehicle, converter size, and engine specs like compression, flow numbers for the heads etc. What are your goals with it?? Those are all things Patrick G takes into consideration. Well worth $25 for him to hook you up.

$4150 for built shortblock,cam,and double roller chain.
1100 for budget heads
2500 for miscellaneous bullshit

labor was free cuz we did the work in my driveway

well i quoted close to 6500
3700 for a 408
2200 for the Cylinder Head and Manifold Package, SLP/L92 Drive by Wire (64cc)
.. well my goals is to basically due a killer street truck.. and to see some strip in the summer. the guy said expect 530 rwhp on all motor and then i told him bout the nitrous kit i got and he said safley u can run a 200 shot ..and another goal is to run either a procharger o a sts turbo my mid late summer
