LS2 Chain-Only or Double-Roller?
I would go with a Ls2 chain ,they are not that expensive & U have no worrys about the chain hitting or rubbing a hole in the front cover ,i have heard of night mare storys about the double roller hitting & people having holes in there cover,someone on this board had a double roller ,they had to griind on the cover to clear it

With the ls2 chain, can you advance/retard a cam or do you have to buy an adjustable chain, if so whats a good bang for the buck adjustable chain. Also on TSP whats the difference between the ls2timingset and ls2 chain. LS1 Tech Stories

the ls2 chain is just the chain.
you cant advance the cam or retard the cam unless you have an adjustable timing set. the chain is not adjustable, but the gears are.
an ls2 chain will be fine unless when you have t he cover off the gears look messed up some how, then get the new gears

So if you want a cam to be advanced 4 degrees, you would need the cam with 4 degrees advanced grounded in?
I also have an ASP Pulley that will be going in. It just sounds like a double-roller is safer. I think I may go with the LS2 chain. Anyone ever break one? Or damage their valves?

I ran an LS2 chain in my car. Aggressive LSK lobes with .641" and .646" (as measured on cam doctor) with stiff Patriot Gold double springs. Spun the motor up to 6600-6800 over and over and haven't had any issues. I'll be pulling this motor apart in the next few weeks to swap to a less aggressive cam and put it in my buddy's car.
Using an LS2 chain in my new motor as well, but the lift on the new cam is only .580ish, and revs will be about the same probably.
