That doesn't look right to me.

In pic #1, the first spring looks like if it moves slightly to the right and up the retainer will fall under the first coil of the spring.

That is not right, the retainer should cover the whole spring. you got the wrong part in there somewhere

Either the springs are wrong or the retainers are wrong. They may have the the correct part number on the box, but that doesn't mean they put the correct part in there. To me, it looks like the springs are ok, but the retainers are to small. You should measure the OD of both and find out which one is incorrect. The springs should be 1.275", if they are bigger than that, they aren't 832's.

They definatley look like beehive retainers for the Comp 918's to me. Along with straight up dual springs. I personaly wouldn't run them like that. That retainer should cover the outer edge of the spring.
JPH- How can you possibly tell that they aren't Crane springs by the pics given? Their is only a couple different manufacturers that make springs for all the different companies out there. I forget offhand who makes them for Crane but for example the Patriot Gold, AFR, PRC & Manley duals are all made by the same company. The difference being in their finish treatment & seat and retainer package. Not trying to knock you but just curious what you are seeing that I'm not.

no blue and yellow stripe. Spring has way to big of outside diameter.

these are not a beehive retainer, there cranes dual spring retainer (#144944-16). The springs on these heads guys are not beehives, the guy just was sold the wrong springs. He was told they were #144832-16 springs, but they appear to be not. He has the right retainers for the springs he was suppose to get, but the look to have to big of outside diameter. When you use cranes spring/retainers together they fit perfect, and hardly does the spring protrude out around of the bottom side of there retainer.
