For the longest time I was having idle issues with my TR 230 cam and aluminum flywheel.
The car wouldn't want to startup with the a/c on, and the car would die if I hit the brakes hard with the a/c on.
Also, startup took a while as my car had to hunt for idle for about 10-15 seconds.
My idle was raised to 950rpms.
I had the ls1 edit tuning done through a local tuner shop who didn't have a ton of experience with programming, but they were the only ones in town with ls1 edit unlimited tuning.
I decided to go ahead and order my own LS1 edit last week, and had a buddy of mine who has done a ton of work with LS1 edit tuning work on the car.
Within 5 minutes he had my car idleing perfect, no hunting for idle on startup, no car dying when starting up or braking hard with the a/c on, and now the car idles at a very relaxed 800rpms and sounds even beefier (if thats possible

I must say proper tuning makes all the difference, and I wish I had done this a lot sooner.
Thx to Nic00Z28M6 for hookin a brutha up!![Cheers!!](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_cheers.gif)
Next step is to attempt to extract some more power out of my car. I'm only running 24 degrees of timing max, and the tuner shop used the MAF tables instead of the injectors to change fuel. I'm also down about 30rwhp/30rwtq between 1500 and 3000 rpms because I'm overly lean in that area.
Looking forward to working out some of these issues and possibly finding some more ponies.

Thats good to hear. I'll have my TR230 running by fall. Hopefully purchasing LS1 edit and EFI Live will pay off. I am kinda a computer geek, so hopefully this is right up my alley.

glad to hear you got it running smoothly, that really makes a difference in just driving around normally. I have no tuning yet and my car is sometimes a pain cause of the idle issues. Hopefully this will soon be resovled with some tuning.
