My current setup is a 224/230 comp cam with a 3500 stall. It really seems like a great setup. Although its not a DD, I wouldnt worry at all to get in it anytime and take off.

I see a tranny rebuild in your near future.
I daily drive my stalled ( Vig3600), cammed (G5X3), bolt-on car.

Had the motor built in Feb 07.. My 4L60E is pretty sloppy currently. Slipping, sluggish.

It's getting rebuilt in Feb 08.. In response to your question.. Go big on the stall, 3600-4000, and match it with the cam,gears..

Good luck.
