i made my own plate using a spare valley cover. cut the knock sensor tubes off and ran a chain thru the holes. put the motor back in that way.

not meaning to hijack, but i have a qtp plate in the for sale section if anyone is interested. it makes the engine removal very easy.....

haha, your a few hours too late, i just purchased one from QTP...

Thanks for the info guys. I have a 4l60-e trans....would you suggest i pull it off the motor first, then pull motor alone, or leave it attached and pull it all at once?
