Default T-REX Question

Guys running a T-REX cam and looking for a set of heads that can bolt right up if possible. I have spoke with Thunder racing and Patriot and it seems that all choices I pick for the Cam, the pistons needs to be fly cut. Is there a set of heads that can be bought right out of the box and bolted on with out checking any clearences????

You are gonna want to check your clearances....period. I don't know why people want to run a dangerous gap when even the cam has a warning that says to flycut. It will *fit* under stock heads, but who is to say that you aren't going to run into valve float at 6800 rpms?

Technically, you can run stock heads and MLS gaskets. If it was me I would question if I really needed a cam that big if I didn't feel that I needed to flycut to keep tolerances. Are you going to DD this car?
Moving to Internal.

TFS heads with their modified valve angle should allow for good clearance.

not to mention they are great heads.

Stock castings: any ported, unmilled, stock valved (except 5.3L). Still need to measure.

ETP heads come to mind as they have more PTV marging than stock
Also RHS heads

I dunno about AFR205s
