243's or 035's
I did a search and found that the 035's have a welded chamber as opposed to the 243's and most seem to recommend the 243's for a d/d. My question is why? I currently have a bone stock ls6 (405hp) long block in my z, complete with hollow intake and sodium filled exhaust valves. Would it be worth the trouble to swap them over to some cnc'd 035's? I found the 035's for about $200 cheaper than the 243's. I just bought a GM Hot Cam off a member on this board and was thinking of doing the heads as well. I know I'm gonna get flamed for the cam choice, but it was a good deal and it's exactly what I'm looking for.
