Default Scat H Beam Rod: 6.125"

anyone have experience with these rods? i am looking to use them in a 13:1 7,500 rpm 6.0, just curious if anyone has had any problems with the rpm. expecting 500+ wheel n/a through a big stall auto with a 250 plate setup on top of that. the rods are cheap when compared to competitors'.

We offer the K1 Technologies Connecting Rods for $469.99. Add the ARP 2000 Rod bolts and I would not worry about about spinning the motor to 7500. The K1 rod will perform flawlessly in your application with a properly balanced and tuned setup.

Here is link to the K1 rods on our website:

For those of you that do not know about K1. K1 Technologies is a subsidiary of Carrillo. Now most know Carrillo is one of the premier connecting rod manufactures in the world. K1 is more of the "entry level" line of Carrillo products. Tom Molnar is the president of K1 and ran operations over at Oliver for awhile before releasing the K1 line.

As you can tell the K1 line has some excellent credentials, we don't like to think of it as cheap.....more like affordable

I've used tons of them in the early days and they will work as long as the offset doesn't make anything touch the pin boss. They aren't offset as much as some of the other SBC rods so they will work alright. They are easily strong enough for anything you can throw at them.

I use the Eagles a lot as they are a true on-center rod if you order the right one and the Calllies Compstar as well in the LS1 style. The new K-1s that Weber is talking about are also going to work great and are also LS1 specific on-center rods as well. I have some on order and they are going to be making some really good LSx parts as well.

I like the scat rods they are good pieces. The ones you are looking at will take 1000 horsepower before I would feel you need to start going to bigger more expensive rods.
