Default hone and re-ring

What is a average price to have a shop do a hone and a re-ring? I did a leak down on my motor and was not happy with the results and think it is why I have oil consumption issues.

Also does anyone have any suggestions for a good LS1 shop close to Pittsburgh?

We are a supporting sponsor of the site that specializes in LS based engines and only a couple hours from you near Cleveland. Shoot e a PM and let me know the state of the engine now, if you are going to bring is assembled or disassembled. If you just wanted the block honed you are looking at $75 to jet wash the block, $60 for the hone for ring finish and $40 to wash for assembly. If you want to put in new cam bearings while it is out it is $42 to take out old cam bearings and put in new ones. We can also check the deck and take a cleanup pass on it if needed. To CNC square deck the block is $160.
Short block assembly starts at $350.
