Default 98/806 heads on 6.0 ?

Can these be used on 6.0?
If so am I stuck with the 98 graphite head gaskets or could I use a mls gasket?

I keep reading how this notch will not allow you to run a newer mls gasket

You could use them. But why? And yes, you will have to use the graphite gaskets.

These are the heads used in my sig and are nicely ported. They will be on a FI build so why waste $1400 on pp to make 30 more whp when I can just turn up the boost one pound and make 60 more whp thats why.

Some say you can use them with the mls gasket some say you cant???

I didn't notice they were ported, sorry. That makes more since. You definitely need to use graphite gaskets, unless you go w/ a cometic or other aftermarket gasket.

So cometic makes a mls gasket for these heads? Would really like to stay away from the graphite gaskets.

thanks

GM MLS gaskets will NOT work with those heads . Graphite or aftermarket gaskets are your choices .
