Try getting a good tune without putting it on a dyno. That said one of the results of a dyno tune is a chart with numbers. I had the car out today it was 40-45 degrees low humidity and it runs and hits hard. I do want good numbers but I am more interested in the pure joy of hammering it and getting pushed back in the seat. wether it is stock or built screw up and your dead. All the horsepower in the world won't make up for common sense!!!!!!

And it doesn't frickin matter what it puts down on a dyno if you can't hook it at the track as far as et goes. I was far from that running a 1.89 60ft. But you can fully enjoy the new found power on the street. I haven't driven mine for a week and went out this afternoon in 52 degree weather. Rolling into it in 1st netted me sideways wheelspin instantly. My Riken Raptors don't hook on the street at all in 1st gear WITH 3.42's!

stalled autos will never dyno near what an M6 does with the same set up. stalled Autos own at the track though no doubt about it.

numbers mean **** with a stalled auto

i only put down 336 with my stalled auto and run good times of course with good tires and i do believe that the car should be dynoed to see how she is running but once that is found then its all about the et not trying to be the dyno queen!!!!

Go to the third page of the TA Pics in my sig for the dyno graph. It's a bit hard to read, but the supporting data is there.

I had a 224 cam in my car for a while and threw down 430 on a Mustang dyno then I went with a TSP torquer vs II and dropped a crap load of power due to a decrease in DCR. So now I need a set of comparable heads to get the power back.

Old numbers

Like my post said, loss in DCR (dynamic compression ratio). Going with the larger duration camshaft hurt. I need a better set of heads for the torquer to perform correctly. And walking all over my old set-up yeah maybe since I don't have it anymore.....

Back to the thread! Congrats on your numbers bro!

Dont feal bad bud I only dynoed at 340 haha but I ran a 12.3 the first time at the track.
I think the dyno has alot to do with it is it a dyno jet or mustang dyno and you can set up your dyno to give higher #'s so its all mean jack with out the 1/4 times.
I think that I had the right thing happen to me having a low Dyno because now I can say wow you have almost 400 hp and are running a 12.7 wow I only have 340ish haha then they dont feal so good about those #'s.

I have the same cam buy the way tr 224/224 114 lsa insted of your 112 lsa.
I've seen alot of that same cam hit the 11's corse alot has to do where your at best I ran was a 12.005 @ 113 on that cam with all the boltons so 11's is not out of the question.
Good luck be safe but I know you will love your new set up now the problem will bee hooking it up haha.
