lifter question
well here is my opinion on this. if your putting heads on the car your right there so you might as well put some in.
if i was gonig to do a cam only swap i would like to put new lifter in because i wouldnt want to put a fresh cam lobe on a lifter that might possibly have a warn roller. but i probably would leave the lifters in because who wants to pull heads when you dont have too.
its all preference.

I used the LS2/LS7 lifters. They perform well for most people (under 7kRPM) and are great deal at $100:

could prolly get by with the heads/cam swap without changing lifters. I didnt change lifters when i put a cam in neither have alot of other people. Down the road if there is another cam change that would be a for sure time to change the lifters.
If time isnt a problem could just hold off on the heads/cam install until you have the $ for a set of lifters. Maybe a set of arp head bolts or head studs aswell.
