Default wondering if anyone is running a similar cam

the specs are 228/232 with a 113+2lsa. THis is a custom ground cam and i have not been able to find anyone running around the same cam. My goals for my car are to run a mid to low 11's cam only. my mods so far are catback, lt headers and lid. Future mods are the cam, 373 gears, ls6 intake and a ported throttle body. any info on this setup will help

I run this cam on a 112+4. I like like it, makes plenty of power under the curve. To get the times you want, you will probably need a set of heads. I compared heads for months before I got mine. I was looking for bang/buck value. My whole setup is in the sig.

i was thinking about getting some heads, i will not be starting this project until the next winter so i have a lot of time to prep for it. Seawolf18, have you ran in the 1/4 mile with that setup yet?

Thats a sweet cam, if I were going N/A that what I'd be running except on a bit tighter LSA but not too big of a differnece. Agree, get some nice heads and make that puppy breathe!

do you think i would be alright cam only or would i def. benefit from heads?

I run the same cam as Seawolf except on a 110+1. It was designed as a TQ cam, I don't think you are going to see mid 11's with cam only. Invest in some good heads and you will be there brother!

you will need heads to achieve low 11's. I have a car in the 10.90's with a 228/232 cam, mild heads and FAST 78/78.
