are these the new lightweight kind? there 1.8 that im buying from a friend. how much u think this will give me?

yes, those are the lightweight ones. I'm sure there will be some gain, but i'm not even going to guess. I bought aftermarket rockers more for stability than performance.

What springs are those? Make sure to check the wipe pattern, its critical especially with 1.8's. Report back results.

The pattern that the roller tip leaves on the valve tip.

I have found when I installed the Yella Terra's the best wipe pattern is achieved with the supplied shims in place. Once you do this, you will need longer pushrods as well.

if i dont use the shims bc i would have to get other pushrods then what and happen if the wipe was not that great

Bad wipe can mean side loading the valves increasing guide wear and leaving power on the table.

you want the pattern to be right down the center of the valve tip. yes this sounds like a no brainer, but many valvetrains are setup with wipe patterns that are off to the side.

Centered and narrow, you should be able to achieve a 0.060" wide wipe pattern with these rockers. This is one of the primary advantages of these rockers, don't waste it.
