i would definately do gears to take full advantage of that cam... u will have to get it tuned also and i would hesitate to drive it that far with no tune, it will probably be ok if u keep the rpms down. i hate to see that body damage man that sucks but the body work dont seem to be that far offf now so i would fix the body damage first then do cam, cam is easy and dont take very long but good luck

But the thing you have to consider is i have to take my heads off before the drive home b/c there are bent valves and I bought a set of used stock heads shipped cheaper than just buying new valves. So while im that far into it I might as well put the cam in and no worries of lifters dropping then either. The car is 4 hours away and I want to do the body work here. So I'm thinking ill do the cam swap while im digging that far into it and finish body work when i get it back. Also what u dont see under that body work is there is not bumper, the radiator support is still bent reason being for the gap in the bumper and hood. So theres atleast another 3-4k in body and paint.

get 4.11's in your 10 bolt...my m6 with that cam made 5th gear in the city unusable and made 6 unusable below 70.

Why did it make it unusable? I dont want to buy gears for a my 10 bolt with 95k on it now and blow the rear and then upgrade to a 9" and then have just wasted the money on gears for my 10 bolt.

im telling you bro youll be cool as long as you dont put slicks or any hard launching its a m6 so itll be ok just save for a 9" with 4.10/4.11's. and since you got to take the heads off anyway id say then just do H/C at one time

yea ive pretty much made up my mind that im still doing the swap makes much more since to save for the 9" than waste any more money on the 10 bolt. Only thing im worried about now is the distance to drive the car back untuned with LT's and freshly rebuilt tranny not even 5 miles on it yet.

I have a truck I have an 02 ram 1500 we took it down on a trailer and i could rent one from uhaul but the car has a random miss fire right now either from bent valves and i know for sure b/c the front o2s arent even hooked up yet. I dont want to rent a trailer waste the money in gas on my truck and the trailer if the car still has problems. Also i'd really like to borrow someones trailer but i dont know anyone around here that has one big enough.

The mods in my sig is whats on it right now pretty much stock. I proble will tow it back and im sure the miss fire will go away after the heads and o2's are hooked up ive seen several threads with this happening after installing LT's. Just hate gas prices lol my truck averages 14 mpg highway and with a car through the hills like 5 i dont even want to think about it lol like $200 in gas alone.

Well im sure you are aware of upgrading your valve train while your doing the swap already and just like stated above. To get full potential out of ur new set up you will definitely want different gears. I'd save up for a 9" and get gears with it when u order it and just run stock gearing for now like im going to do.
