I tried a search and got more confused. I ordered a LS2 water pump being told it was a direct replacement but during the search I read that it needs to be pulled out 3/8" also saw 3/4". Any truth to this?
If so how do you go about pulled it out that far?

lol, i know you need to pull it out slightly...someone is bound to have done this....

 

I put one on my 01 LS1. It was off a friends ls2 create motor.
