Yeh really, thanks a lot niphilli. So if I were to get the tr 224 or the G5x2 how long do you think the rear end would hold up? And if anyone has dynoed after a 224 or G5x2 how much hp did you pick up?

I'm really not sure but doesn't the G5X2 require fly cutting the pistons or is that only for milled heads.

the rear is a sticky question. you can shred the rear to pieces with just a good clutch and a stock motor. Any cammed engine is gonna eventually kill the rear if you visit the track on a regular basis.

Like ragtop said...for max effort...230+ duration and a tight LSA (112 LSA or less) will net you the most power...just make sure you are geared for that much cam (4.10+)
