Re: Poll: best cam for the TRACK with stock heads? Yeh really, thanks a lot niphilli. So if I were to get the tr 224 or the G5x2 how long do you think the rear end would hold up? And if anyone has dynoed after a 224 or G5x2 how much hp did you pick up?

Re: Poll: best cam for the TRACK with stock heads? the rear is a sticky question. you can shred the rear to pieces with just a good clutch and a stock motor. Any cammed engine is gonna eventually kill the rear if you visit the track on a regular basis.
Like ragtop said...for max effort...230+ duration and a tight LSA (112 LSA or less) will net you the most power...just make sure you are geared for that much cam (4.10+)
