Okay, I am pretty sure I figured out the cam I want...
239/251 .580 .580 on either a 112 or 114lsa <---basically its the GM Grand Am Cup cam with just a little more lift, and a higher lobe separation angle, one for increased torque, and two, for better idle and drivability.
But what are most of the larger cam intake centerlines? I was thinking 108, and going larger, to say 110 will raise my hp peak, which I dont really want...
Thanks!

That's a hell of a cam you're talking about there. In any event, yes... retarding the cam will raise your peak power RPM and result in a slightly rougher idle.

107 looks pretty good on the engine simulator, I wouldn't get it ground on a 114 tho.
on a 110 (106 ICL)it is even better...

Yes it will go fine in your 408, there will be a slight lumpy note but nothing too worry about. Idle quality should be about 11"Hg.
