Right now I have a 00 TA basically with full suspension, lid, cutout, and borla catback. It has 64K miles.
Future Plans: Fast 90mm and throttle body. After that I won't be doing anymore motor work. Just want to get 410 or so to the wheels and sound good doing it with decent daily driveability.
Going in on Friday will be:
Pacesetter Longtube headers
Pacesetter off-road connection pipes
S cam- 238/240 on a 112 LSA 605/609 lift
Comp Cams *NEW* .650 lift 918 valve springs
Comp Cam 7.400 pushrods
NGK TR6 Spark Plugs
160* thermostat
Mobil 1 oil change
Price: 2076.12 with a tune and it will be ready by the end of the day.
I made another thread on this subject and have since decided to go stock rockers and lifters. I have been told multiple times that the stock oil pump should be fine, might go with an ls2 timing chain, or a double roller if I can get one for a decent price. I found an ls6 intake and ported TB for 350.00. I am kinda strapped for cash and was just wondering what you guys think of the setup and my plans (keeping in mind I won't be doing much of anything as far as the motor is concerned in the future).
Any help or advice will be extremely helpful.
Thanks,
Brian

Ya, i'm getting a different opinion from everyone. I would like to replace the pump, but HPE wants 100 for the pump and 88 for install. I'm a little short on cash. As it is, I'm gonna have to wait on an intake, which sucks.

personally id jump all over that ls6 intake mentioned earlier. with that cam's intake duration, you are definately gonna notice a difference. and even if your gonna buy a FAST later on, the LS6 is one of the few mods that holds its complete value 90% of the time, so buy it for $350 now and sell it for $325 when you get a FAST
