Thanks a ton for posting these pictures and links!
I had jpegs of my swap but lost them and many other irreplaceable shots due to a hard drive data corruption.
One thing I had was some good pictures of the dots on the sprockets for the cam alignment. I had gotten a camera down in front and was able to make sure I had it right by enlarging the photo and drawing a line through them. As you probably know, just a slight rotation makes a big difference on the line-up of those dots.
If you have more pictures, I for one would like to see them.
BTW, I chose to keep my factory manifold because of the GM baby cam. I could never get through e-check with LTs and mids yield only a tiny / equal or negative power advantage. I coated mine with POR20 (not POR15).

Check to see if you have an LS6 block while you got the heads off. Also with the heads off is a good time to do the master drill mod. Use a shop vac to clean things up before you start to install everything. I had better luck getting to the grounding bolts from under the car looking up. Pad all the areas in the bay so your elbows can rest, with an old blanket or something.
