EGR Delete

What all does the egr delete? is it worth it? does it gain anything?

I did my EGR delete when i converted to an ls6 intake/race headers. If you're planning on keeping the stock LS1 intake you can just do the egr mod - sawing off the egr tube where it goes into the intake so it doesnt impede airflow. Probably worth a couple hp. If you want to remove egr completely you will either have to plug the existing hole in the ls1 intake or, preferrably, get an LS6 intake.

what about the "air pump" can i just take that out or do i need to leave some of that crap in there

you dont need it...take it off..i dont really think its worth any hp tho..it just looks ugly
