Cylinder Head Comparison Hello,
Well I have been doing a little reading on cylinder heads and wander if any one has done back to back comparison between the heads I stated above.

I'd compare the airflow graphs for each head, record the numbers and see what ones average the most. Peak flow isn't the most important thing low and mid lift numbers are also important.
Well lets just say there is no budget. What head would produce the most power with the cam, displacement and combustion chamber size are all the same.
Well that is not exactly fair testment. AFR are a good example of it. A larger volume intake runner is going to flow more air because the opening is bigger and thus the bigger intake running is going to flow more. And a large intake runner on a 346 does not always produce the most power.

Not listed but trick flows perform great and they now have an as cast version. I emailed them and their flow numbers are very close to ported AFR's. They can be had for around $1800 but you have to run aftermarket roller rockers with them which puts the cost back in AFR territory. You would have better rockers though. Just a thought.

GM High Tech Performance had a head shootout in an issue quite some time ago. Trick Flows won the shootout. There was some speculation that the TFS were "massaged" for the test. Try and look up the article on their website.
