It will be nice not having to screw with the balancer again.

Nice, I've wanted one for a while, but didn't want to spend the $400+ on the QTP one. I'll be adding this to my 98 parts list.

Typical, I hate that. The last backorder date was originally 3/28. I dealt with the same **** last year this time about the LS7 lifters, ended up having to go with the GM stock replacements.

you will have to bring it to tdc before you take the cam out. then all you will have to do is slide the new cam in and align everything

Looks like black anodized aluminum. they should have made the bottom piece look the same.

Summit's website now says backordered til May 2nd. Hahah. it never ends.

Yet when you goto place an order thru JEGS, it says they expect it to ship within 7-10 days.

im calling edelbrock in the morning. I'll post anything I find out.

I dont see what the hold up is. There are no moving parts, so I wouldnt think there could be anything causing problems, unless they are having trouble getting it to seal properly.

I know this is about the timing cover but how about that intake? From there pdf catalog it says it will clear the camaro hood. Would that thing be any good on a street car?
