Best Intake-Head-Cam combo?

Just wondering what everyone's opinion is for the best intake/head/cam options. I'm just asking for advice so don't bash one another for saying something that disagrees with what you say.
My opinion is an LS6 intake, 215 cc ported aluminum heads, but for driveability, not sure about cam duration yet. Nothing really radical, but I'd like to be around 425-450 at the tires. Is that feasable?
Chris

If we are going off opinions, I'd say the AFR 205 heads, the FAST 90/90 setup for intake, and a TREX cam, but that's me. I'm sure more power can be made with other setups, and I know the setup I've chosen is very pricey, but it is my opinion, so...
But yeah, a search will help you out tremendously. To answer your other question, yes, 425-450 at the tires is feasable, depending on the cam.

450 to the wheels? I am going to spec you a bad *** kit..
Give a call to Vengeance Racing and ask about their "vindicator package", I think it includes Ported Stage II LS6 heads ( they flow up around 320 cfm@ .600 ), ported FAST 90 mm intake, BlueMaxx 90 mm tb, hardened pushrods, Vengeance "Vindicator" camshaft, and all of the necessary gaskets and hardware.... will put you OVER your goals, and its pretty affordable as well... A little higher than some budget stuff, but you are getting some of the best pieces avalaible for 3.905 bore 346 LS1's. and cheaper than the AFR/fast/ TREX route.

We have several packages that can easily produce 450rwhp. The key is using a quality cylinder head and having a good induction/exhaust/tuning. AFRs/TrickFlows/TrickFlow As Cast Cylinder Heads would all meet your goal with MILD camshafts and have plenty of room to grow.
You may want to check out our sales thread in the sponsor sales section. Quite a nice package without breaking the bank.

Ron, just checked out your site, but didn't see the Vindicator kit that Brad said about. Any help on that? Got a price? Sounds like a mean lil' kit without a ton of work involved. I'd like some more info on that. If you can get it to me I'd appreciate it. thanks.

The guys a Vengeance know how to put a top notch combo together. We work with them constantly to make sure our customers get the power they are looking for, usually using one of Vengeances proven setups!

Best bet is to spend money on the intake and heads then go milder on the cam. 450 with a 224 cam is easy if you get the good stuff on top. AFR/ETP or TFS with a ported FAST 90 work every time..

I just checked the numbers that Ron sent me on my camshaft, everything is the same as yours except the lobe separation. My specs are 112 + 4 instead of yours which is 113 + 2. Do they custom grind these cams per specific person or do they stock them?
Chris
