Any one running a Vengence VRX 4
I spoke with The shop manager at Vengence Racing the other day and it looks like thats where I will get the cam install done for my car. They seem to be very fair in their pricing, and from what i've herd they do great work.
Is any one out there running a VRX 4, cam only (228/230 588/592 on 112). I would like to here what your experience is with this cam, how much power are you making. That kind of stuff
This is going in to a C5, 6 spd. DD
thanks

That is roughly the same cam that hundreds of people are running, the people that have stuck names on them are Vengeance, Futral, Comp and a few others but thats a good ballpark to both make power and maintain driveability
i have it with some tea stage 2 ls6 heads. i just got mine started up. it runs good and sounds good. it is in a 1992 camaro rs. i should be dynoing in the next couple weeks. i'll post up #'s then.

It says on their site that its power band is from 1900 to 6700 RPM. How high should it be revved at on a stock bottom end? I'm planning on getting this cam as well. Also is there a better choice between the two optional springs.. the Comp 928 or the dual golds?
mine made 426 rwhp and 406 retq. thats with stock LS6 intake, throttle body and pulley. it does have a moser 9" rear also. it drives as good as stock. has very little lope to it. mine is on a 113+2 lobe separation, which was recommended by Ron at Vengeance. i have TEA stage 2 LS6 heads. it pulls very hard for a small cam. i will run at the track for first time this friday night. i'll post #'s then.

Its a great cam, Ive seen it locally. even on a 112 w/ cats its not too obnoxious, actually has a great tone to it, Pulls hard and dyno sheets often w/ the correct bolt ons and good tune do over 400 rwhp on m6/10 bolt cars with 01+ fbodies.
Awesome numbers for a smallish cam.
