Default TSP 224 or 233 Cam?

Trying to choose a Cam for my A4 LS1 but want to stick with stock heads for now. I'm eyeing the TSP $599 package with the 224 Cam, but if possible with stock heads would like to step up to the $709 233 Cam package for better HP gains. So can I do the 233/239 with stock heads?

You can go with the ms4 cam if you want but yes the 233/239 cam will work.

No problems with the MS4 with stock heads? Is the $709 kit that lifts to .660 enough or they still going to be stressed?

when you install it check you ptv clearance, but yeah if they are unmilled ls1 or 6 heads it should work...thats what it was designed for. to be the biggest cam possible on a factory shortblock without flycutting the pistons if heads are still 65cc chambers of course. and yes the prc springs are great for that cam.

if your on stock heads, id look at the tr230 from thunder, reverse splits are great for stock heads cars, and a strong torque curve too

I would get the 224 cam if it's your daily driven car, if not, get the 233 cam.

The 233/239 or the MS4 camshaft will both work excellent with that verter & stock heads. I personally like the power of the ms4, but you really can't go wrong with either setup!
