Trying to choose a Cam for my A4 LS1 but want to stick with stock heads for now. I'm eyeing the TSP $599 package with the 224 Cam, but if possible with stock heads would like to step up to the $709 233 Cam package for better HP gains. So can I do the 233/239 with stock heads?

when you install it check you ptv clearance, but yeah if they are unmilled ls1 or 6 heads it should work...thats what it was designed for. to be the biggest cam possible on a factory shortblock without flycutting the pistons if heads are still 65cc chambers of course. and yes the prc springs are great for that cam.

The 233/239 or the MS4 camshaft will both work excellent with that verter & stock heads. I personally like the power of the ms4, but you really can't go wrong with either setup!
