Default GM oil leak?

I own a '01 WS6 and have noticed about two months after my last oil change I was down about a quart of oil. I know GM had a problem with the LS1's in 98-00, but i heard they were suppose to fix it for the '01-'02s. Why is it doing this and what should I do....i.e it is still under warranty so will the dealer fix it and how long should it take?

A quart of oil between changes ain't bad. Don't sweat it, and check it often.

That's not bad at all; mine uses a quart every 1200 miles. Just installed the LS6 valley cover but no results yet. And no, the problem was not fixed on the 2001s.
