I am running 12.6 or so with my hotcam and mods in my SIG also, that is with me slipping it a lil bit cause I still have that bullshit 10bolt! I go to route66 which is a place where is notorious for breaking 10 bolts and launching at 2100 rpm. I only go 2x a year so 1/4 mile's aren't that big a deal to me. Just a lil weekend toy.

If you don't have them, 1.85 rockers are a great mod with the hotcam. If you can pickup a set, go for it. I have the hotcam with borla/longtubes/y-pipe and it pretty sick.........(at least to me)

I like my Idle after adding harlandSharp 1.8 RR's to my hotcam I went to straightline for a retune but I ran out of injectors!!
Now I bought 36lb'ers and patriot gold springs! going in a few weeks!
I dont like the fact that my new lift is now .556 and the Ls6 springs are rated at a MAX of .570 so might as well upgrade, right!

I ran 12.50's on street tires in my 99 6 speed Z with the HC, 4.10's, UDP, Borla, lid, Eibachs, and the ever not popular HPP3. I can only imagine how much better it would have run with the LS6 intake, longtubes, and ORY.

The fastest ive run with the hotcam was 113, and that was through a shitty launch and granny shifting on street tires. I know I can hit the 118-119mph mark if I had slicks and a better tranny/hydraulics.

if its only a .556 lift (if you do the math thats actually a rounded up number its really a
.555xxx whatever) and there rated to a max lift of .570 then in my book run them untill you do heads or sumthing then upgrade them then.

I am rockin a hotcam now and enjoy the sound. I get around 27 mpg on the interstate with 4.10s and other boltons. Would go up with UDP and EWP, obviously. I enjoy the LS6 spring price also. Honestly though, I am thinkin about getting another cam though. When I change I want to get the Lunati Voodoo 60512. Its cheap. The special order price at Advance Auto Parts is $270ish. 232/238 .599/.601 113lsa It. Sounds. NASTY! And it would be a huge jump over the hotcam. I am already wishing that I had gone with a bigger cam. So, in the future, i'll have a hotcam for sale Sound clips as well as other info on the hotcam in my Sig.

Probly better in an LQ9. I think it was carcraft or hotrod that built that exact thing. They called it a LQ4 but the flattops meant it was an LQ9. More compression.

I've trapped 112 with a 12.8 A/F ratio and 23* timing up top (nitrous tune) in 45-50 degree weather, so im guessing that translates to 360-370RWHP. I also have mac mids with an open cut out. It's a great cam for the money, I surely would not buy one at cost, I got mine for 150 shipped and had a friend give me free brand new ls6 springs. I also only rev mine out to about 6300rpms to save the trans, basically I'm not the most efficient setup, but hte cam sounds wicked next to a tr224 and really gets going
