You need to change the values for P0121 code MAP window.

Larger cams produce less vacuum at idle (and consequently higher MAP values).

The computer does a speed density verification (which uses MAP values) against what the MAF (among other things) is reading and tries to make sure eveything jives. When the MAP value is skewed it will cause the ASR/TCS problem as well as issues/codes for the throttle position sensor (P0121).

The fix is in changing the MAP values/window in the P0121 code. Do a search for P0121 in the tuning section for more info.

Sorry to bring this old thread back up.

What if I only get the "ASR off" light when I turn my A/C on?

Thanks.

Hold old thread batman!

I don't have any issues when I use my AC but I made quite a few changes to get rid of the MAP error.

Try these:

Its not the MAP sensor. There is no SES light.

I only get the "ASR off" light when I turn the A/C on.

If the turn the A/C off and restart the car there is no ASR light.

It's the computer saying MAP is out of range. When you go to a bigger cam, there is low vacuum at idle. That's why the ASR turns off. I adjusted the table and the problem went away.
