Rattling noise under the dashboard?

Rattling noise under the dashboard? When my car idles, i can hear a really annoying (but noticeable) rattling noise that sounds like it's coming from under the dashboard. I can't really hear it outside of the car (maybe the engine is too loud, or maybe it is just under the dash). Kinda like a loose screw rattle or something tapping the ceiling of the hood or dash type of sound. Any ideas? Didn't do this before heads and cam.

Anyone got any idea of how to test where it's coming from other than pop the hood and listen? I know w/ H/C your car is going to shake alot more but this constant rattlin' just gets to me. Maybe i'll just have to deal assuming it's not a problem.

it could be any number of things i had that happen at it ended up being the y pipe rattlying against the driveshaft safety loop. it started off quiet and it got louder and louder
