I have researched and researched and have not found my answer yet. I have called Tony at AFR and also TSP but still can't decide. Does anybody out there have a proven H/C combo? I have a old school MTI 383 with Stage I Heads and a small cam. Wanting to upgrade H/C for STRIP ONLY, NOT A D.D. Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated. Thanks George

You may not find a more "proven" combo. Exactly what do you need someone to prove to you?

Any of the Big 3 Aftermarket heads with a 244/250 110+4 or 112+4 XER will run at the strip, given all the other parts of the combo are right.

I have a proven combo in my car. It ran 10.93 @ 122 on motor.

I am running TSP Giant cam and GM stock 853 heads.









I reccomend it to anyone....that has ran out of mod money.

Yeah Tony's THE MAN and I'm 90% sure I'm going with his set-up. But just wanting to see what other people are running. Car runs 11.60@114 with a 1.50 60' . Seems it needs more on the big end. Also has Fast 90/90, 1 3/4 - 1 7/8 Edlebrook Headers, 3800 Viligante Stall, 28" MT DR's with stock 3:23 gears [needs 3:73 or 4:10]. Thanks George
