I like the ms4 better than the trex although both are amazing cams. The Ms4 just seems more streetable to after having driven both of them.

I personaly been in an MS4 car and sounds and moves wicked. Ive never herd or tried using a Trex cam before. I dont rull it out but it might be soming I might look into for my C-10 project.

Go with this one, quit messing with small cams like the MS3/4, Trex, and Vindicator!

well the max lift on my prc's is 660 and that lift is cutting it close. That be a geat cam to go with though. Besides, I rather do a custom grind when im ready for my 350 turbo setup and diffrent stall. Like i said before, this cam is not going to be in there for ever. I do plan on dropping it into my C10 once im ready for a custom grind

The set up im running right now is just to get the car on its feet and put down good numbers and track times with a max effort streetable cam. This is my shop car and want to be able to drive it like in my orginal post. Im not going custom grind yet cause im not done getting the MAX EFFORT out of my current set up. Test and trial have alot to do with getting the max out of your ride. Racing is about getting the right combo (Engine, Trans, Suspention and tune). When the time comes I will be swapping parts out for better ones. Hell there already here laying around in my shop LOL

OPPS somebody said the 3 letter word FUN!!! I call it rompability. When you can go by a car or a shop or the dealership! And romp at them. Now that ****s fun and thats what it all boils down to is. Agrability. If I can romp at sombody thats tried it before and lost. Then I've had a good day.

I'm running the Vindicator on the project Camaro and it's a strong cam. I've gone 10.92 @ 3350 raceweight with a nitrous-oriented torque converter and too much tire.

I'm going to be swapping out my current converter for an ATI 5500 stall which will hopefully get the car going around 10.5 or so.

This is on pump gas with 11:1 compression. 60ft was only a 1.48 on motor on the 10.92 pass and the car was going almost 100mph in the 1/8th which shows a lot of potenial.

Oh and it dynos like 415-420rwhp thru the unlocked TH400 converter.

Not to side track, but will the MS4 even work with the prc 5.3 stage 2.5s? I went with the TSP ls6 1.5s as I was pretty sure the ms4 wouldn't work with the 2.5s because of the larger valves causing ptv issues. I could be wrong though.

None of the cams listed will work with his cylinder heads unless he has notched pistons. Fortunately, the OP has a forged shortblock with valve reliefs so it opens the doors to alot of possibilites

I really like the stall if you were asking me. I blew a tranny last year and had Percision to clean it out for me and I had them to restall it to the same parameters.

Yea, Ron is right. None of these cams will clear my heads, but my shortblock has 2cc flat top pistons so no worrie. I do later on plann on milling and opening up to bigger valves like a stage 3 and cometic gaskets to bump up my compression.

NC98Z, yea im looking for a converter but found one locally so all i need now is gears for my formula.

I wouldn't bother swapping an MS3 with an MS4... You wont notice much of a difference if any. The vindicator is a good cam too, I like that TRex though. I've thought about it.. hehe. I would just pick the new cam for the new motor and just wait.

Yea I like that cam spec alot too. Id just bump the LSA up to 113ish.

But out of MS4 vs Vindicator Id go for the vindicator. I like comps XER lobes not a fan of high lift LSK lobes.
