I have a set of Patriot Stage II's that the previous owner has larger valve guides on to run a Ford valve seal that supossedly decreased friction as the valves move up and down. He was running comp 918 springs. Well, that was fine, but now I am upping to a bigger cam and need to run the PRC dual springs I have.
They will not fit as the inner springs rub the valve seals pretty badly. Any ideas on springs that will work with these guides/seals?
Thanks

The easiest thing to do here is to have the guide OD machined for a .500 seal. This is a very common machining operation that most any machine shop can perform. It should cost < $100 for this. If you want to do it yourself, do a search for a PC seal cutter with an 8mm x .500. I've done this more times than I can count.
