i really dont think Jay from absolute was saying anything bad about another sponsor, he works well with alot of others like jpr, lg, etc... it was visceral who came out saying that shops like absolute dont take care of customers cars like mti.
Absolute has only been around a short while and is competing very well with the other head porters. Im sure MTI had to work up to their reputation. and Jay is well on his way with his excellent port design.

Viseral, Why in the world would anybody stress out over putting my heads on the car, unlike other shops that have employees that port there heads, Its only me that puts 110% into each and every head, I put my heart and soul in each head I put out to make sure my customer gets more than what they expected with the faith that there car will be just as reliable as if it had stock heads, I do this becuase its my company, my living and most of all my name
I think that this sums everything up. I would much rather get a head that has proven itself many times over that it is a good as anything on the market... which just so happens to save me some substantial money also. Besides the fact that no matter what the price is... Jay's customer service makes his heads an even bigger steal than the sheer price.

Having seen business from many aspects... big volume retail, and little guy working for himself........ I would much rather have the guy who works for himself because like Jay said.. it is his name, and his livelyhood. His reputation is all he has. He can't afford to due less than 110% becuase 1 customer makes a difference. And to some of the big volume guys..they may really care about customers... but 1 set of heads will not make or break the company... and that is just the way it is.

Long story short... good repuatation... honesty... and proven quality = no need to worry.

Thanks again Jay.

Just think what these cars will dyno with a Cam that can take full advantage of the port work My Heads flow 300 at .500 lift but this small TR 224 Cam is holding alot back.
It looks like Absolute has a great port to work with a 224 Cam setup which is great

Slowhawk,
Early next week I will be installing my 5.3L heads from Absolute that Jay has to my G5X2 cam. He has been working with Lou at LGM and knows what this cam like to build great hp. I was very suprised to see that he did not hog out the top of the intake runners so much that they cut into the rocker arm bolt holes. I thought that this was normal for all porting jobs on LS1 heads but mine are solid all the way through. I will be on the dyno on the 19th. We'll see what this badboy will pull.

What ever happened to the Graph? Love to see it. I'm lost between GTP, TEA, and Absolute right now, but am leaning towards Absolute.

Is this through a 12-bolt and a steel driveshaft, or a 10-bolt and aluminum driveshaft?
Thanx.

Hey Jay,

I have no issue with you or your port work and I never said anything about getting this thread deleted. I was just letting everyone know the facts on the sales pitch on the original post. As I have stated before, I have seen these cheap pitchs to advertise his shop and he is not a sponsor. Yes, I just registered but I have been reading this site for quite awhile. All of those sponsors over there >>>(including you) pay for advertising on this site. If he wants to talk about his shop he should he should sponsor the site. Does anyone disagree?

This guys name is Dave. He bought cheap shitty heads, and is unhappy with his flow numbers. For what its worth, he blew up his car N/A.

I will post pics of my new 6.0l heads when they arrive from Absolute on Tuesday.
