Default Sump plug Thread

Hi, can anyone tell me what thread my sump plug will be? i have an LS1 engine in a cobra ( gd kit car) and want to hook up a oil temp sensor. so i plan to get an adapter to my m10*1 oil temp sender. its a 1999 fbody LS1 out of a camaro.

Are you talking about the oil pan drain plug? Wouldn't the best place to put the oil temp sensor be the stock location above the oil filter?

yer sorry english names may be diff, im after the thread size for oil drain plug.

i cant use the stock location as its being used as part of the oil cooling system.

It's M12 x 1.75. Most oil cooler adapter blocks have a port for the oil temp sensor, which one are you using?
