Default correct me if i am wrong

as the title says, a little insight. I just read the ls6 pcv conversion on ls1 how to.com and looks good, one thing they install the old pcv valve in line from the valley cover to the intake. Not that it is wrong, but isnt the baffle in the valley cover resrticted to act like a valve?? i have a ls2 set up i am building with the ls2 cover and i was told all i need is the hose from the valley cover to the intake. Are the ls6 covers different, (of course the knock sensor holes) but other than that. I guess i just want to know so i know what to do with mine. Any info will be appriciated.

I don't think there is any type of one way valve in the baffle of the LS6 valley pan. I still have the PCV in line as well. I got the newer style PCV - no moving parts just a smaller hole out the back.

The LS2 valley cover has the pcv & baffle built onto it on the bottom side.. You want the ls2 valley cover part#12570471 along with u hose # 12594779.

04' ls6 was the only year they did the pcv on the valley cover & carried the design over to the ls2/ls7... Use the ls2 cover it's a better design vs the old 00-02 ls6 cover.. You will not need a pcv as it's already built into the plastic baffle under your ls2 valley cover.
