Default Untuned cam advice?

I am picking up my car tomorrow. I had a torquer v3 put in it. So whats everybody's take on going WOT untuned? Who's done it? Anyone suffered damage by doing this?

It is highly advised to NOT do a WOT run with the car being untuned and with that cam. I wouldn't even take it over 3000 rpm's until it is tuned right.

well, being that you have to ask I am sure there is something in the back of your head telling not to do it. just wait and get it tuned and you'll be much better off.

It's stupid.. make sure you change the oil after 50 miles or so to get all the cam bearing material out of your oil before you make any pulls.

after you get it don't get above 2500 - 3k until you heat cycle the springs a few times as well. but in agreement w/ everyone else, get it tuned first.

If my question is too dumb for you then stay out of my thread. No need for that crap.

I wasnt saying that towards you, I meant after I myself have asked many dumb questions, Ive pretty much realized If I have to ask to or not to do something, I probably shouldnt do it. I wouldnt take a un tuned motor WOT but thats just me.

Don't go over ~ 2500 RPMs and no more than like 40% throttle. While I did do heads with mine, I did a mail order tune to get me rolling and even then it still had minor issues. I would do some LIGHT cruising for about 80 miles city driving, resisting the urge to WOT, drop the oil then go right to your tuner/dyno tune shop.
