SOMETIMES when you put in a stall it won't shift correctly until tuned, Sometimes your ok without one. You just have to see. Your tuner should do an adjustment like this for a nominal charge if it needs it though.

my buddy installed a hot cam and i've seen what it does before it's tuned and also halfway tuned (tuning got interupted by a neighbor) . . . kinda similar to a vacuum leak. he has a stock stall right now and will upgrade when he breaks his tranny lol i'm hopin to install my cam really really soon and it'll be on the stock stall for some time, but if it's too much to handle and too annoying i can just pull the tr230 out and put the stocker back in for now.

youll be fine with a stock stall, but its a PITA to deal with imo. get a 3600ss yank or bigger asap

yeah a 3600 is what i want but my tranny has 120K on it so i'll just end up gettin a built tranny with a stall end of the year

Ive heard bad things about TCI converters, go yank or vig.
