Default this is it...cam time.

ok ok ok, ive probably ha my mine made up a hundred times
but im a click of a button away from finally ordering.

i live in louisiana so im goin to pick a cam from thunderracing
so i can get a full price (tune, install, etc.)
so which one of thunderracing cam should i get

tr230/224 111
tr224/224 112
tr230/236 112
trak cam
my car is a daily driver back and forth from school and home
and every where. im leaning towards the tr230/224 111 it seems DD friendly
and good power under the curve. so help me for the last time.

p.s dont worry this will be my last pick a cam thread, for all of you who are tired of me posting.

I have the 224/224 on a 112 and love it. But I have been hearing a lot of good things about the 230/224 so I would say get the 230/224.

I am going with the Futral F14 high lift cam. 232"/234" .646"/.612" 114LSA With a set of trick flow 215cc 61cc chamber heads. Allen @ futral says it's going to make some really good power. I also live in Louisiana and have had the thunder racing tune. Call Allen @ Futral motor sports. Tell him what you want to run or how much power you are trying to make and let him tell you what cam to use. Also, Allen seems to be a little cheaper on parts and labor than Thunder racing and he also holds the record for worlds fastest stock bottom end 346 LS1. So I would say he knows his ****..

Yes he is. I just dropped my car off today over there. He is also in Baton Rouge. Like I said before, I went to Thunder Racing and was not impressed by the sales rep. people skills. Although I do have to say that Shane was really cool and help me out alot. If it wasn't for there high prices and shitty sales people I might have had all my work done by them. Call Allan man, he'll take care of you..

TR230/224 here and I love it. It makes for a great DD and makes awesome power under the curve. It pulls hard from any speed and idle sounds mean too. It's a great street/strip cam.

No he will not install Thunder Racings cam. You have to buy the parts from him.

Pacesetter LT's, no cats, H-pipe and Sweet Thunder mufflers. It's all 2.5 inch.

I looked at it this way.. I'm looking at spending ~$1k on this swap. $20 for Patrick G to custom-design me a cam based EXACTLY on my needs, driving style, and even wants (like how choppy do I want it?) is a bargain to make sure I get something I'm going to be happy with.

My app is a little different than yours, but I'll just say nothing I had read anywhere was like this cam he spec'd out... and I think it's gonna be perfect...
