started cam install today!
just like the title says fellas started the cam install today. i have a really quick question, i havent taken the crank pulley off yet, i have an asp underdrive pulley and was wondering what 3 arm puller i have to use to get it off? if someone could chime in and give me and hand i would greatly appreciate it!

thanks for the link, but thats not gonna work, i need the one with 3 arms either to clamp the pulley, or the one that goes on the inside of the pulley and presses on it. thanks though.

no, i have an asp on there now, i have to take it off in order to install the cam. i was just wondering what other people who had an asp pulley used to get it off.

I did mine with the Chrysler Harmonic balancer tool from AZ. I think those bolts are metric and finding metric bolts that will work has always been tough for me. There are alot of people that have done it with the Chrysler tool but use your discression as to whether it will bend a solid chunk of steel like that. The only down side was I got a few really small marks from pulling it of. It was really easy though.

The link does not show anything but it is the one labeled OEM# 27139. The only thing I realized is I have a powerbond so I am not sure if there are any differences. There actually was a post with step by step instructions I pulled up in a search when I pulled mine off a while back. But I searched under powerbond removal.

Yes, the best thing to use is the crows foot (harmonic balancer puller). You do have to hunt the right bolts down (M8 1.25, I believe). Good luck with the install. Remember to hold up the lifters during the spring swap.

this is what i just went out and bought from sears,it came with 3 diff size bolts i test 2 of them out and it looks like it may work.
